Nice little cafe to sit and enjoy a treat and a coffee. The atmosphere is relaxed with airy indoor seating and benches outside during the summer. The almond cookie was especially tasty. A simple pleasure!

Great coffee and gelato, always a fun ambiance. Best spot for a coffee break in the summertime. We usually sit outside in the summer in a little not fancy but charming garden. Their cookies are good to go with your delicious coffee and the staff are friendly.

Nice cafe with great coffee. Lots of locals and limited seating. But I got a spot, had an opportunity to have a conversation at a level where we could hear each other without shouting. I'll definitely be going back.

Great coffee. And if that’s not enough, it has a nice evocative decor and the social atmosphere matches it. Nice days make the outside feel like a latter day old country with benches and people hanging out next to Vespas.

It's a great Cafe it has expanded over the years they have a nice outdoor patio, and then make a really good Italian coffee just like you get in Italy I highly recommend this Cafe

One of the best coffee in Montreal. We keep coming back every chance we get. The various bakery on offer are also a delicious treat to try. It's our favourite coffee spot in NDG and well worth it.

This was my first Café de' Mercanti experience and now I know fully why my friend ordered the double latte! I ordered a latte and received a rather pale milked down version. But that's not the kicker! How about a couple of coconut- chocolate variety cookies to go with that. You can't beat a good coffee with a "GREAT" cookie, right! Sticker - Price shock, $7.00 for two cookies,.....really! OH, I forgot the added value, the waitress told us that they were gluten free....well at least something was free! Nice people, courteous service, well I guess at those ridiculous prices they have to be nice. Will continue to look forward to my weekend dose of single - strong latte and most delicious almond croissant on Dante street!
